- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆My father is a little exentric I must say but he means well and was looking forward to the Halloween jam night today 30/10/19. He had put his name down to play a song with his guitar and had dressed up in full costume with all intention to contribute to the Halloween celebrations. I was surprised when only one hour later he returned home? I asked why he was back so early? He replied, I was kicked out for not buying a drink! A barmaid had approached him and said you need to buy a drink because it pays for the band. My father doesnt drink alcohol and was just there for the celebrations. He explained he does not drink and he was part of the entertainment. The barmaid replied, well dont come back again! My father didnt know what to do as he wanted to play his song? Five minutes later the decision was made for him as he now was approached by a senior barmaid with the same professionalism and curtesy as the last. He then replied, ok I guess I will leave then! I forgot to mention! My father is 67 years old. Hope your proud of yourselfs barmaids. Happy Halloween to you and your so called great friendly pub!!By Admin, December 08, 2018
